What we store
Your account email; the requester profile you choose to fill in (name, mailing address, phone, contact email, organization, YouTube channel, intended-use statement); your tracked cases, requests, and editor projects; and, when you attach a published video, its public view statistics. When you create a request, we snapshot your requester details onto that request so the record of what you sent stays accurate even if you later edit your profile.
Gmail
Connecting Gmail lets CSC place drafted letters in your own drafts folder and watch the reply thread. Tokens are stored encrypted. Agency replies are classified automatically, and only the classification is stored — the text of your email and the agency’s replies is never kept.
Processors
Infrastructure and database hosting (Supabase), payments (Stripe — we never see card numbers), Google APIs for the Gmail features above, and AI providers used to draft request letters and process footage you submit to the editor (Anthropic; Deepgram for transcription). We don’t sell data and don’t run third-party ads.
Retention
Video view statistics are kept as daily snapshots for 30 days, with lifetime aggregates retained. Request records are kept as your paper trail. You can detach videos (which deletes their stats history) and clear requester-profile fields at any time.
Your choices
Export or deletion requests, and anything this page doesn’t answer: see the contact page.
